The Smart LED kit is a real eye-catcher: once assembled, it becomes an oversized LED. Inside the 3D-printed dome sits an addressable WS2812 LED strip, controlled by an ESP32 with USB-C. Colors, effects, and animations can easily be configured using the open-source software WLED.

Software & Control
The kit is designed for use with WLED. You can control the Smart LED via the web interface (browser) or the WLED app (iOS/Android) and integrate it into smart home setups. Numerous presets, animation effects, and integrations are available.
Quick Start: First Setup & Programming
- Connect to WLED: On your smartphone, open Wi-Fi settings and connect to the WLED-AP network. The login page (captive portal) will appear.
- Set up Wi-Fi: Tap WiFi Settings, enter your home Wi-Fi (SSID/password), and save. The lamp will connect to your network.
- First control: Either open the WLED app and add the lamp, or access it in the browser at
wled.local
(or its IP address). - Set LED count: In the app/web go to Config → LED Preferences and set Length to match your LED strip. You can count the LEDs or increase the value until the whole strip lights up.
