Motörbörd – The Electronic Chirping Bird You Build Yourself
Tweet tweet, chirp chirp! The Motörbörd is a fun and creative DIY electronics kit that brings together sound, technology, and art. This little chirping bird generates sound electronically—powered entirely by a small motor acting as a hand-cranked generator. No batteries needed!
The Motörbörd is a soldering kit designed by noisio, a Dresden-based electronics and sound artist. It’s perfect for educational workshops, schools, museums, or creative afternoons at home. Build it, decorate it, and let it sing!
Based on a simple inverter circuit (CD4069), the Motörbörd transforms your hand energy into delightful bird-like sounds via a piezo speaker.
