We've been looking around the incredibly large solder market and have decided on a good solder for lots of soldering fun: Felder ISO-Core Solder. All lead-free and everything, of course!
We have limited ourselves to a small selection, but all the solders here have been tested and found to be good.
The diameter is 0.75mm. In our experience, you don't have to add too much and still don't apply too much solder to your spots. Perfect for fine and coarse solder joints.
