About Us

We’re a small, dedicated online shop with a passion for promoting STEM education. With our soldering kits and matching accessories, we want to spark curiosity and enthusiasm for technology – whether it’s your first time soldering or your next creative electronics project. 

Our story began in the Binary Kitchen, a makerspace full of tech enthusiasts. That’s where we developed many of our kits and ran countless soldering workshops. When the pandemic hit and in-person events were no longer possible, we started shipping our kits and hosting online workshops instead. The demand quickly grew – and that’s how blinkyparts came to life. 

What started as a side project has now become a small company. Today, our team develops, packs, and ships your kits with attention to detail and a love for DIY tech. Over the years, we’ve introduced more than 17,000 people to soldering at events large and small – including many school groups. The interest continues to grow, and we’re happy to be part of that movement. 

Supporting clubs and nonprofit organizations remains a core part of what we do. We reinvest a portion of our profits into STEM education through discounts, donations, and sponsorships. We believe technology should be accessible to everyone – regardless of budget.
